soundtracks to my soul ♥
![]() Friendster MySpace e-mail: zhafhiey@hotmail.com MSN: ixixy@hotmail.com ![]() He changed my life, he cleaned me up, he found my heart like only HE can. He made me discover myself, he's my drive, my inspiration, my voice, my soul, my song, my heart, my hero. ♥ I don't think I can ever have built a passion and found a dream if I had never found him. He makes my day each time, and every song he has written is etched in my mind, my heart and my soul. I am very protective of this man because I don't like people making fun of whoever it is that has left an impact in my life. He is all I need right now to keep me going to achieve my dreams. And don't be jealous that a guy in magenta nail polish can get more chicks than you. ![]() GERARD WAY, the first. He is undeniably an awesome person with a wonderful personality. He is always all-smiles and not forgetting he has a lovely smile. Whoever fails to love this man fails so much, because they are definitely blind. I knew him before I knew Miyavi, and he did the first few jobs to straightening my life out before handing it all over to him. He got married to someone else already, but I am happy for him, of course I am (: He has been the bestest there is for the past 2 years I was obsessed over him.
![]() Bill makes awesome music and he, although young, is very talented and expressive. Miyavi is more expressive than he is, but hey! Bill just turned 19, and he definitely has a long way to go. He earned success through hard work and diligence, and for that, I love him to bits. He hasn't really done anything to change my life, but he's wonderful nonetheless. And yes, it's a he. A guy who happens to have long hair so you people think he's a girl. A guy whose face is effeminate and prettier than all you other guys out there. You're just jealous that a guy in black nailpolish can earn more chicks than you, just like Miyavi. ![]() WILLIAM BECKETT, my laughing gas. He's cute, I know. He's funny, even more. He's tall, has a great smile, wonderful personality, great sense of humor, wonderful singing voice, he's so... wow. I am not in love with him, but I pretty much look up to him and his group of friends, which includes oddities like Chislett, Mike Carden, Sisky and The Butcher to always make me feel better on days I'm feeling quite blue. They never fail to slap a smile onto my face because they are awesome and funny like that. Whoever has not seen these guys in action, but go and watch them ASAP because they. are. the. shiz. Great humourous bunch of people, who make awesome music as well. Who can't possibly love them!?
![]() JOE JONAS, satisfaction
People who know me well, know damn well I do not like this guy. I don't even like him now, I'm just in this for the thrill. So yea, I don't hate him as much as I used to, but I don't like him much either. But, I'll have you know he's a damn good kisser and I should know, yes, I should know. And his saliva tastes like cherry/mint. No, don't even ask. Oooo, scandalous. And I just thought that after everything that happened, he deserved at least a mention for satisfying my lust.

This is going to be a long and boring post, so please do not read if you do not like long posts with no nice text decorations, or if you are plain sick of Miyavi. Because I am sick of you people too. I do NOT like Miyavi just because he is HOT. That'd be the last reason why I actually will ever like him. I do not like artists for what they look like, but actually for the music they make. If I did like artistes for their sex appeal, imagine how many favourite bands I would actually be drooling over by now. Well, it just so happens that Miyavi is loaded with sex appeal too, but that's beside the point. Okay, so let's start with his music. It's in Japanese, yes. I do not understand Japanese myself, and you might ask why the hell I even listen to it. First of all, I do not like Japanese music. I was quite a racist myself when it came to these type of music, especially the crap they called Visual Kei. But all that changed when I stumbled upon Miyavi. He showed me that VKei wasn't all about makeup and senseless music. For the first time ever in my life, what I heard in Japanese music, reached into my heart and wrapped itself there. There's so much feeling in his song, it drags me away to a totally different dimension. I didn't understand Japanese for shit, but his music is just breathtaking. And thanks to him, I opened my mind to the VKei scene, and I can bravely say that although I am not much of an expert on Jrock or VKei, or Visual Rock, for Miyavi, I have accepted this trend. Androgynous-looking guys are no more a weird thing for me, neither are loads of makeup on guys. If I had not stumbled upon Miyavi, I would probably be racist against Japanese music. His music also gives me drive and inspiration. Remember what I said about "feeling"? What I feel in his music makes my mind flow freely. It gets me thinking, and his music has inspired me to do some artworks, based off his songs. His music also can determine what I feel for the day, because of the way the song is carried out. It is that amazing. His voice is also soothing, and his playlist is what I have to listen to every night in order to get some sleep. His music brings me away to somewhere else, which makes it easier for me to fall asleep. His music style also changes a lot, just like his appearance, from screamo, to punk, to rock, to hiphop, to jazz, blues and whatnot. And trust me when I say that it is his frequent change of style that makes him all the more an interesting artiste to follow because you will never know what's coming next. His music gets better all the time too, which is why I am really in love with his music, no matter which era it was in. His current style, Kabuki Rock, or also Neo Visualizm, shows a bright display of colours and wonderful stage performance. Which brings me to my next point, his charisma. He has loads of it, and those people who actually bother to watch the live videos I have posted of him on my blog, will actually notice this. He is very hyper on stage, and he does his very best to keep his crowd entertained. He is the type of artist where you can just watch his stage presence and forget about the music, because his antics blow you away all the time. His live performances also are not just sing and play, but it has a lot of last minute impromptu shoved into it, like solo performances, dance moves, speeches, or anything extra. And it's really interesting to see him live. He is witty, humorous, and is full of energy. He has a lot of talent for the guitar, like once where he strummed the guitar using the fingers on his left hand, the hand holding on to the neck, played the 12-stringed guitar while playing his Gigpig, with bell shoes on one foot and tapping a drum on the other. He tapped the drum with his hand on got back to his guitar on the precise notes. Very talented indeed for a 27-year old man. He can play a lot of instruments, ranging from the harmonica, to the piano, and even traditional Japanese instruments. Not only does he play these instruments, he plays them WELL. And when I mean well, very well. All this, while singing. It's not always you come across a young, good-looking all-rounder Asian. This brings to mind his personality, very bubbly, cheerful despite everything thrown into his way. Like, haters, stalkers, or even fainting on stage or the pressure of a tour. He continues giving his best in his performances for his fans. He is loud, hyperactive and talks so fast that sometimes even the locals can't understand what he's saying. That aside, he also has a very pure heart, like back when in his days, he wanted to be a doctor because he believed it was "important to help people". But he had a deeper passion for music, thus, Miyavi was born. He is good at almost everything too. He can play the guitar and don't know what other instruments out there, makes his own music, composes his own music, arranges his own music, has a lovely voice, lovely personality, wonderful charisma. He is good at soccer, in fact, once he wanted to be a soccer player until he broke his leg, which made him learn the guitar to fill up his days without soccer training. He's a part-time model who catwalked at Paris, an actor who has his own movie, Oresama. Miyavi is truly his own person, and because of that I truly respect him. He likes to give wise words to his fans, and one in particular which I shall always remember is "Do your best, because I am doing my best too." People who keep on commenting about his girly looks are seriously narrow-minded because it's all part of his look. He is a Visual Rock artist, and he has every right to change his style. The name states itself, VISUAL rock. The way he dresses bring out what kind of person he is, and I have to see that this is also why I see him as a wonderful person. He is very expressive and is not afraid of what others think, as long as he manages to accomplish what he wants to do. He is not girly in any way because he does not move or act like a women, except for the fact that he is prettier than one. I really look up to him as a role model, and I do not see him as an idol, but more of an... "older brother", because he is close to his fans like that. He has made me realize where my passion lies, and showed me that nothing is impossible, and has inspired me to try my best in whatever I do. His music gives me drive, his personality gives me energy, his presence itself gives me hope. That's how much of a person Miyavi really is. That's how highly I think of him, and THOSE are the reasons why I really like him as much as I do. Except that sometimes I do get carried away by sex appeal. I have so many other reasons, but I am very lazy to write them down. My fingers and aching already. I am thanking God right now for your very existence. And yes, you may laugh at me now thanks to my fangirly and honest confession. -----
